I DLed the song from Lincoln's website and yes, like you, every time it plays, I think of this commercial and the car. It's brilliant advertising and thus no real surprise that Ford didn't need bailing out. If I could, would I buy a Lincoln? You betcha because they've sold me an experience I want to be part of.

Yeah, I know I think too critically about these sorts of things but I strongly believe that part of the problem with the world is not enough people think critically.
