Fundamental Miscalculation
Oct. 15th, 2010 08:43 pmI got off work today and collected Logan for a trip to the local mall. He needed new running shoes and I am not trustworthy enough to leave on my own for any real length of time so away we went.
Right beside the sports store is a dollar store and today is the first day for Operation Christmas Child, where you pack a shoebox and send it off. I didn't register this on the way into the sports store other than grabbing up a pamphlet to read while Mr. Treadmill Runner chose his shoes. I called Eames to see if she needed anything and she asked for a pink wig if we could find one for Halloween.
( And that was her mistake... )
It's strangely reassuring to not be alone in requiring a chaperone though my partner in crime doesn't share the feeling. He'll get used to it.
