Okay, so I don't like to rant on this journal.  I sort of like to save it for more serious things, but I have story to tell and musing journal or not I'm damn well posting this or I'm going to lose my mind.

I decide while trying to post to my forum RP that I'm hungry and I need to go get bread and essentials anyway, never mind meet a friend for coffee so I wrap up online and leave the apartment.  I went out and down to the garage, unlocked it and rolled up the door to see the car sitting there mutely with the drivers side door open and the dome light still on.  From yesterday... over twenty four hours ago.  My jaw is on the ground, it's been a while since I pulled such an idiotic move with the car.  (I used to lock keys in it regular but since having a door key cut and putting it in my wallet, no more dumbness that way.)

I cross my fingers, get in, pray, try to crank it to life.  Nothing.  Just a click.  With an aggravated sigh, I get out and start digging around for the trickle charger.  Can't find it.  I had one but no more... it's gone and I'm fucked if I know where, I looked in every nook and cranny and it's just not there.  This is a single car garage with a roll door, FYI.

To look in every nook and cranny I had to move the car, so into reverse I put the gear and it rolled back but the door caught on the garage wall (carpeted or there'd have been damage)  I think the already bent door hinge is now worse.  I dig, can't find the trickle charger and go to leave the garage, roll down the door and come back up here.

You got it... can't roll down the garage door because the car rolled out about four inches too far.  The garage floor slopes into the alley so moving the car back up the slope is nigh on impossible with one person.  Unfortunately, I can't leave the car to get back to the apartment with the garage door open because of the stuff in the garage.  I didn't take the phone down, this was supposed to be a milk run to the store with a stop at a fast food place for forbidden breakfast.  Now I'm stuck in the garage and it's starting to rain.

I wait for someone to come along and rook into helping.  (No one does, so don't ask me why I didn't just go up to the apartment and grab the phone.  The actions made sense at the time!)  While waiting, I look again for the trickle charger and finally get the idea of putting the car in a forward gear while I'm sitting in it, then carefully getting out to push.  Several tries later, I manage to push it into the garage.

Now, my back hurts, my feet hurt (I was only wearing sandals), my ass hurts, I'm filthy.... and I have a dead car in the garage and no idea what the hell to do about it for the moment.  Going to have to take the bus up to Canadian Tire (automotive/household tool parts type place) and buy a damn trickle charger and hope like hell I can get the battery charged up.

And, to top it all off, I don't have bread or greasy junk food!

AAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHH!
